Valemount is using a grant from the provincial Resort Municipality Initiative to enhance its trail network and develop more winter and spring events for tourists.
The community east of Prince George received more than $31,000 from the fund, which is intended to enhance tourism opportunities.
Valemount was one of 14 resort communities to receive funds this year.
