Prince George's Sikh community saw hundreds of people celebrate Vaisakhi, the spring harvest, on Saturday with an event that included traditional food, music and dance.
The event started with a traditional parade called Nagar Kirtan that left from the Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Temple on Davis Street. The parade travelled down Ospika Boulevard to CN Centre where the celebration will continue until about 2 p.m.
