Don't throw out that ratty old artificial Christmas tree just yet.
Tourism Prince George wants to use it to bring the magic of Christmas to vacant store fronts in the downtown area.
Annie Doran, marketing co-ordinator, said "We want to get everyone into the community spirit of Christmas by brightening up the downtown, so we can use as many trees as we can get."
The artificial trees are needed by Nov. 22 for a special light up event on Nov. 27. Bring them to Tourism Prince George located in the Via Rail station at 101 First Avenue or call Doran or Sherry Powney at 250-562-3700.
