A snowmobiler from Prince George spent a night outside after going missing while out riding southeast of Quesnel.
The man was reported missing Sunday afternoon after he got separated from his group while riding in the Yanks Peak area.
According to a posting Monday afternoon on the Wells Snowmobile Club Facebook page, he has since been spotted by helicopter.
"He was waving his hands and seems to be okay," Samantha Stewart said in the posting. "Chopper has landed near by and he is being assessed while ground crews make their way to him."
Roughly a dozen volunteers from three search and rescue organizations - Prince George, Quesnel and Central Cariboo in Williams Lake - along with helpers from the Wells Snowmobile Club had participated in the search.
