Unsung rodeo heroes

When watching or photographing a rodeo there are some people who always seem to get in the way and block the view. While most people pay no attention to them, these pickup riders and the bull fighters have a very important role to play in the rodeo.

When watching or photographing a rodeo there are some people who always seem to get in the way and block the view. While most people pay no attention to them, these pickup riders and the bull fighters have a very important role to play in the rodeo.

The pickup riders for the Williams Lake Stampede are Wade McNolty and Earl Call, who have been working together since 1995. Their job is to provide safety for the riders and animals.
