United Way of Northern British Columbia kicks off Tree of Lights Campaign

After a two-year absence, the Tree of Lights once again sits atop Coast Prince George Hotel by Apa thanks to the United Way of Northern British Columbia.

Donors have responded in a big way to the United Way of Northern B.C. Tree of Lights, shown illuminated on the roof Coast Prince George Hotel by Apa, so far raising $20,375 for mental health supports in the region.

After a two-year absence, the Tree of Lights once again sits atop Coast Prince George Hotel by Apa thanks to the United Way of Northern British Columbia.

The 60-foot tree was illuminated during the Tree of Lights Kick-off event on Sunday afternoon in front of the hotel. The United Way of Northern British Columbia hopes to raise $25,000 with this year's campaign with funds raised going to mental health supports in the community.

Lights can be purchased for $5 per bulb and can be purchased on to their website at http://www.unitedwaynbc.ca/uwtreeoflights.
