UNBC transit trips to stop for summer

Much of the city's transit service to the University of Northern British Columbia is about to take a summer holiday. Starting May 22 and lasting until Sept. 4, the following runs will be on hold: - Route 15 morning runs to the UNBC at 7:51 a.m.

Much of the city's transit service to the University of Northern British Columbia is about to take a summer holiday.

Starting May 22 and lasting until Sept. 4, the following runs will be on hold:

- Route 15 morning runs to the UNBC at 7:51 a.m., 8:21 a.m. and 8:51 a.m. and from Downtown Prince George at 8:19 a.m. and 8:49 a.m.

- Route 15 afternoon runs to the UNBC at 4:23 a.m., 4:53 p.m., 5:23 p.m. and 5:53 p.m. and from Downtown Prince George at 4:21 p.m., 4:51 p.m. and 5:21 p.m.

"Route 15 sees lower ridership in the spring and summer months when UNBC is not operating a full schedule," city officials said. "A return to full service trips coincides with the start of a new school year at UNBC."
