The future of downtown and the future of UNBC are intertwined. University president George Iwama was certain of that, but had little else to add. He said he wasn't being coy, he was waiting for other parties to get back to him about their parts in the plan.
And what a plan. The Wood Innovation and Design Centre is all but officially announced to be the occupant, one day in the near future, of the spot on which the Prince George Hotel (and other structures) currently sits. The scope is still far from public discussion. Not even the mayor could get Iwama to divulge more.
