Crown prosecution has approved charges against two men suspected of carrying out a targeted shooting at a local motel earlier this week - and one of them remained at large as of Friday afternoon.
Police are on the lookout for Harley Raymond Poole, 28, while Donald Justin Johnny Baker, 23, remains in custody following his arrest on Wednesday.
Both face one count each of attempted murder with a firearm, robbery with a firearm and intentionally reckless discharge of a firearm. Baker also faces one count each of discharging a firearm with intent to wound and possessing a firearm contrary to an order and three counts of breaching probation.
The charges are in connection with an alleged shooting at the Queensway Court Motel on Tuesday morning. One man was transported to hospital with a gunshot wound and is expected to survive.
A photo and description of Poole were not immediately available but he may not be hard to spot. He walks with a noticeable limp, according to Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass, after he accidentally shot one of his legs off below his knee when he stuffed a shotgun down his pants.
Anyone who may have information on where Poole may be is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300 or to anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
