Two men died Friday night in a fire in a Fort Fraser home.
The blaze in the 700 block of Birkshire Street was reported shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Officers arrived to find the two inside the home already dead and were pushed back by thick black smoke when they tried to recover the two bodies, RCMP said.
A preliminary investigation suggests the fire was accidental.
The two men were 58 and 68 years old. Their names were not released.
