Two men were found not guilty last week of invading a 400-block Ogilvie St. home in early 2013.
The verdict was reached Thursday for Sameer Madhok, 43, and Mark Anthony Stewart, 33, following a trial in B.C. Supreme Court.
Madhok and Stewart had been accused of forcing their way into a basement suite and making off with a laptop, $45 in cash and cigarettes during the early morning of Jan. 3, 2013.
However, the credibility of the alleged victims was at issue because the incident was not immediately reported to police. Instead, that occurred nearly three months later.
Madhok had been facing nine charges and Stewart was facing seven.
No one was seriously injured in the incident, the court had heard during testimony.
