Two people have been charged following an RCMP takedown of a suspected drug house in the Quinson neighbourhood early Saturday morning.
Jason Thomas Paquette, 40, and Jessica Anne Bartel, 32, each face a count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The two were arrested at a 300-block Moffat Street home where significant amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and prescription pills, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash were seized, Prince George RCMP said.
The move occurred after the RCMP's street crew unit pulled over a vehicle on 15th Avenue near Nicholson Street at about 10:20 p.m. Friday and arrested two men and seized some cocaine. In all, eight people were arrested.
A 31-year-old woman was released on a promise to appear and a 65-year-old man was released without charge, but may be summoned to court at a later date. The other four were released without charge.
