Crown counsel has approved seven charges each against two people, including two counts of making or possessing explosives, stemming from the police search of an 1100-block Ahbau Street home on Thursday.
Dustin Jeffrey Olson, 24, and Meranda Leigh Dingwall, 23, have also been charged with one count each of careless use or storage of a firearm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possessing a firearm with an altered serial number, possession of an unauthorized non-firearm weapon, and possession of a restricted firearm or prohibited ammunition.
The two were arrested Wednesday evening and police conducted a search of the home the next morning.
The 1100 block of Ahbau was cordoned off for about 2 1/2 hours, with neighbours asked to vacate their homes, as an emergency response team and an explosive disposal unit were called in to clear the home.
Both individuals made first appearances Friday in Prince George provincial courts on the matters.
