While en route to an unrelated call in the very early morning hours of Nov. 1, Prince George RCMP were drawn to a suspicious occurrence on the 1300 block of Strathcona Avenue.
Two males were standing next to a vehicle in the driveway of a residence. When police slowed to look, the males acted very nervous. Officers questioned the two. Further checks found a freshly sawed off .410 gauge shotgun and ammunition in the vehicle. The gun was seized and the 52-year-old and 32-year-old suspects were arrested for possession of a prohibited weapon. Both men are Prince George residents.
The investigation is continuing.
