Pat Bell is looking for input on what British Columbians think skills training priorities should be.
The Prince George-Mackenzie MLA and Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training Minster is hosting a Twitter townhall tonight, where he's asking how to take incoming ideas and turn them into actions.
Bell said the idea stems from online discussions his colleagues were engaging in.
"It really is trying to build a dialogue or discussion around skills training," Bell said.
The minister said he will be in more of a receivng mode rather than sending out tweets while the townhall takes place between 7 and 8 p.m. Anyone wishing to participate can use the Twitter hashtag #skills4bc.
"About two months ago, we released our new skills training strategy and it's already having a positive impact," Bell said, pointing to this week's announcement of 30 more positions for truck driver training in Prince George. "So the Twitter townhall tonight is going to be interesting for me to get a broader public sense of what our priorities should be and listen to recommendations."
