Thefts of two large televisions from a Prince George hotel has led to a three month sentence for a man suspected of committing several other similar crimes.

Clayton Mosionier, 36, was issued the term in Prince George provincial court on Tuesday following an incident in which two 42-inch televisions were stolen from the Sandman Signature Hotel, at 2990 Recplace Drive, on Dec. 17, with the help of a master key card lifted from the hotel two days before.

RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said tips from the public helped put Mosionier behind bars.

Mosionier remains a suspect, Douglass added, in at least eight other thefts committed over the dozen days he had been in Prince George leading up to his arrest.

Mosionier was also sentenced to seven days for breach of an undertaking on a seperate matter.

Anyone with information is asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
