An information session for people interested in running for school board will be held tonight.
Topics covered in this informative session will include: critical issues for learning and finance for the next three years, role of the board of education, role of individual trustees, confidentiality, trustee interactions with stakeholders and practical strategies for keeping up-to-date with information.
Current trustees Lois Boone and Roxanne Ricard, both of whom are not running in the coming election, set for Nov. 19, will be on hand to field questions and provide specifics on the job.
The session will be held in the board room of the school district's central administration office 2100 Ferry Avenue, near Highway 16 West, beginning at
7 p.m.
