Students will no longer have to go onto college or university to qualify for a scholarship or bursary administered by the school district.
School board trustees amended the district's awards policy Tuesday night to provide awards to students entering programs other than post-secondary institutions in response to the establishment of a busary in memory of fallen Prince George soldier Cpl. Darren Fitzpatrick.
