A compound in the BCR Industrial Site was targeted by thieves sometime overnight Saturday/Sunday.
Police were alerted late Sunday morning that the incident had taken place. A business on Rock Island Road called to report the costly theft.
Taken were a 2003 grey Ford flat-deck truck and a black 2011 Snake River flat-deck trailer. The truck's license plate number was AP4387 and the trailer's was 69955C.
The yard was locked at the time. Police did not disclose how entry was gained or if any other clues were left behind.
