The CN Centre is certainly planning a 30th birthday to remember.
Trooper, Canada's party band with hits like We're Here for a Good Time (Not a Long Time), Raise a Little Hell and The Boys in the Bright White Sportscar will be in town Sept. 27 for the centre's 30th anniversary celebrations.
This is the first time the legendary Canadian band has visited The CN Centre, with the band playing at Kopar Memorial Arena in June 1978 with its original members.
The iconic Canadian band has made a name for itself with multiple gold and platinum awards, including for their six-time platinum greatest hits record Hot Shots.
They have also earned themselves Juno Award-winning for Band of the Year and have been acknowledged as one of Canada’s top five selling bands of all time by Universal Music
Trooper will be joined by Prince George rockabilly band The Chevys, who will be playing their first gig at the CN Centre.
Trooper's performance will be the capper to a weekend of performances including Brent Butt on Sep. 25 and Fresh Horses, a Garth Brooks tribute band, on Sept. 26
Tickets will go on sale Friday at Tickets North’s website
