Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George is raffling off a chance to plan the perfect getaway.
The grand prize is one round trip flight for two to any scheduled WestJet destination, plus $500 in spending money, and a Canon EOS Rebel T5 camera.
Potential locations include, St Lucia, New York, Dublin, Cancun and Nashville.
A total of 2,000 tickets are up for sale at $10 a ticket and the draw date is September 15. All proceeds from the raffle will go towards growing local mentoring programs in Prince George.
"We hope that with the support of the Prince George community we can sell out and get one step closer to serving 365 kids by 2017" said BBBS operations and event assistant Cassie Lobban. "The raffle is a great way to support our many mentoring programs. Providing kids with mentors not only helps kids realize their full potential, but can also have a wide spread positive impact on the local community."
Tickets can be purchased at the BBBS office (777 Kinsmen Place), by phone (250-563-7410), and at locations throughout Prince George.
