A man riding a motorized tricycle died of injuries after being hit by a pick-up early Canada Day morning.
Prince George RCMP said the 64-year-old man was cycling along Highway 16 at Gauthier Road when he tried to cross the highway against a red light.
Police responded to the call at about 7:30 a.m. and the man was transported to the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia, where he died.
