UPDATE: Power restored after fallen trees cause two power outages in Prince George area

B.C. Hydro Crews have restored power to Miworth, after a tree across a wire caused an outage at 9:46 a.m. affecting 53 customers. The power came back on at 1:12 p.m.

Crews have also restored power to North Isle Pierre Road at 2:01 p.m. after a down wire caused an outage at 10:24 a.m. affecting less than five customers. 

11:02 a.m.

B.C. Hydro Crews have restored power to customers in Upper Mud River this morning after a tree fell across the wires causing an outage just before 8:00 a.m.

Power is still out for 53 customers south of Miworth Road and east of Harold Road as a tree across the wires also caused an outage at 9:46 a.m. 

BC Hydro also reported another outage on the 32200 block - North Isle Pierre Road, affecting less than five customers at 10:24 a.m. but the cause of that outage is still under investigation. 

10:15 a.m.

Fifty-five B.C. Hydro customers in Miworth and upper Mud River are without power this morning.

A power outage was reported at 17800 – 18500 Upper Mud River Rd. at 7:54 a.m. The outage was caused by a tree down across the wires.

This outage has affected less than five customers. B.C. Hydro says crews are en route and are estimated to arrive at 11:20 a.m.

A power outage was also reported south of Miworth Road and east of Harold Road at 9:56 a.m. This outage was also caused by a tree down across the wires. It has affected 52 customers.
