The 50-foot balsam tree gets lifted onto the roof of the Coast Inn of the North Tuesday afternoon by Sterling Crane.
The tree was cut and hauled by Warmac Ventures from Karp Lake area.
This will be the 28th year for the Salvation Army Tree of Lights Campaign.
The official light up ceremony will be on the morning of November 13 with a breakfast and other activities. The Salvation Army will also launch this year's Kettle Campaign the same morning.
