The Railway and Forestry Museum will host a special Geocaching 101 workshop Sept. 19 at 1 p.m.Geocaching is a treasure hunting game where you use a GPS that can provide fun for the whole family

Andrew Toms, an experienced local geocacher, will introduce participants to basics of geocaching, how to read cache pages, look at different cache containers and find geocaches with a GPS device.

Those without devices will be teamed up with those who have them.

Admission is free to members. Cost is $18 for family of up to five, $6 for adults and $3 for kids aged three to 12. Call Kathy to book your space at 250-563-7351 or email [email protected].
