School board trustees will take a second look at recent changes to the catchment area and transfer policy in answer to a worry raised by the city's independent schools that their students seeking to move onto a public school may now be on the outside looking in.

Such students are considered "out of district" under the revamped policy trustees adopted Jan. 25, and so are at the back of the line if they want to transfer to a public school next year.
