CN Rail suffered a derailment about 16 km. west of Vanderhoof at about 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, a company spokesman confirmed.
In all, 18 loaded coal cars derailed, CN spokesman Warren Chandler said. No one was injured and the incident is under investigation, he said.
