One man is dead following an early morning run-in with a train.
According to the Prince George RCMP, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. Tuesday at Wilson Park, off North Ospika Boulevard.
An eastbound CN Rail train collided with an unknown male, who was transported to hospital with critical injuries. He died in hospital a short time later.
"At this time investigators are working with the BC Coroners Service to identify the victim and determine the events that led up to the collision," said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Craig Douglass. "Foul play is not suspected."
