Prince George will soon have nearly 7.5 lane kilometres of newly paved road.
The city is will start eight new paving projects this week, all scheduled to be done by Sept. 19.
They are:
- Bird Street from Queensway to the end of the street
- Foothills Boulevard from Vellencher Road to Highland Drive
- Hamilton Avenue from Queensway to Hazelton Street
- Highway 16 Frontage from Westgate Road to Marleau Road and Marleau Road to Lalonde Road
- LaSalle Avenue from Queensway to the end of Hazelton Street
- Quadrant Crescent from Queensway to the end of Inlander Street
- Rose Lane from Quadrant Crescent to Regents Crescent
- Royal Crescent from Queensway to Regents Crescent
Drivers are asked to be on the lookout for alternate routes and to be mindful of crews on the road.
