Thieves used a stolen skid-steer tractor to ram their way out of its compound and make off with it.
The incident was discovered at about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Brandt Tractor facility on Great Street in the BCR Industrial Site.
"Sometime overnight a suspect or suspects entered the locked compound and drove a brand new skid steer tractor through the chain link fence on the property," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass.
The skid steer is described as a yellow and black John Deere model 329DT with rubber tracks.
