Tourism Prince George will be getting $20,000 to support its new Container Vendor Market project aimed to foster community connection.
The funds come from the 2023 Spruce Credit Union Legacy Fund Grant from Interior Savings and the Prince George Community Foundation.
“This generous funding will go toward a brand-new market project, which will see multiple, all-season booths for local and Indigenous business owners," said Colin Carson, CEO at Tourism Prince George. "While we still have more fundraising to do to meet our final goal this grant is extremely helpful.”
This grant program, stewarded by the Foundation, was established through the successful merger of Interior Savings and Spruce Credit Union as a way to recognize and extend the impact Spruce Credit Union and its founding members have had in enriching the community of Prince George.
