Tourism Prince George is telling the stories of local legends in a new video series. Beautifully produced by local company 6ixsigma, the first video in the series tells the story of a fixture on the Hart Ski Hill.

The videos not only showcase notable places in the city to visit but focuses on the stories of the people who make those places comes to life.

Zorro is a 72-year-old local legend at the Hart Ski Hill. When he hits the slopes, he aims to do 100 runs.

“If you can’t ski in the day, you can do it in the nighttime. It’s for the whole community, it's good for everyone including me,” Zorro explains in the video.

He started skiing at the Hart Ski Hill in 2011 and goes there nearly every day he can.

“If you like something at a young age and you think about it a lot sooner or later you are going to do that,” said Zorro.

“I have no explanation for why I am liking that or why I can’t quit.”

Last year, he made an impressive 7,000 runs on the hill.

He said he thought about volunteering, but that would cut his skiing in half.

“So, I am kind of selfish.”

The first installment of the Local Legends series runs about 4 minutes and is available online and through the Tourism PG social media channels.
