During our last online poll, The Citizen asked "what do you think is an appropriate punishment for customers who verbally or physically assault store employees enforcing mandatory masks?"
"Permanent criminal record and permanent store ban so workers feel safe" was the most popular answer with 59 per cent and 1,017 votes.
"Conditional discharge if no previous criminal record," took 19 per cent and 330 votes, while "no criminal charge; store could ban customer for a time," took 16 per cent and 272 votes. Trailing was "nothing; everybody is under stress right now," with seven per cent and 144 votes.
There were a total of 1,722 votes. Remember this is not a scientific poll.
The next question for the online Citizen poll is "will you take a COVID-19 vaccine once it's available in Prince George?"
