Police are seeking information from the public after the theft of close to 30 tires from a local business on Wednesday

morning.

The perpetrator cut through a fence on a commercial property in the 2500 block of Queensway Street to gain access to the tires.

In an unrelated case, RCMP have located a boat trailer near the Nechako River west of the city, but have been unable to locate the owner. The trailer was seized Oct. 31 at the 1100 block of Takla Forest Service Road. It had been partially submerged in the river for at least two days before it was reported to police.

The two-wheeled black trailer is approximately 18 feet long and looks to be made for a small boat or personal watercraft. The tail lights are broken and it appears the electrical wires have been cut.

If you have any information on these two cases, contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or the Crime Stoppers line at 250-222-(TIPS)8477. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online at www.pgcrimestoppers.ca or Test-A-Tip to Crimes using the keyword "pgtips."
