A spill from a tipped tractor trailer clogged the roundabout at North Nechako Road with debris on Tuesday.
Police said no one was hurt in the morning accident, which involved a Metro Waste truck, and damage was limited to under $1,000. The clean-up effort partially impeded traffic flowing northbound on North Nechako Road throughout the day.
"Witnesses advised the truck was driving very slow, and it appeared the trailer garbage load had shifted and turned the trailer over and the tractor with it," said Const. Lesley Smith, an RCMP spokesperson.
Police did not recommend charges as a result of the accident.
Ron's Towing put the tipped vehicle upright.
