Environment Canada has issued a warning for a severe thunderstorm over Highway 16 and Vanderhoof.
"The storm is moving northwards at 25 km/hr. This storm is capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain," the agency said in a statement issued at 4:19 p.m.
A similar warning for Prince George was called off shortly before 5 p.m.
