Environment Canada has called off its severe thunderstorm warning.
"Severe thunderstorms have weakened or moved out of the region," the agency said in a statement issued shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Thunder and lightning, accompanied by a downpour, rolled through the city early Friday afternoon.
