A Prince George driver has been charged with driving without due care and attention after hitting one moving and two parked vehicles on Tuesday.

Witnesses at the scene of the collisions about 11:30 a.m. at Third Avenue and Brunswick Street told police a female driver had driven into the front of an Ace Auto Towing truck as it was in the process of towing a parked vehicle. Upon trying to leave the area, the 47-year-old is said to have accelerated and hit two other parked vehicles.

Police said the tow truck driver pursued the woman and was able to stop her a block away from the accident.

The driver, who was hysterical, was taken to UHNBC to determine if she had sustained injuries, but did not require medical care and was released.
