A 20-year-old Prince George man was shot in the leg on Thursday inside a residence in the 1700 block of 17th Avenue.
When RCMP responded to complaint call of shots being fired in that area about 10 p.m., they found the man suffering from the gunshot wound. The man was taken to University Hospital of Northern
B.C with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass, media liaison officer, said three adults were arrested at the scene and remain in custody.
"Although all are known to police, there is no indication that this was a gang related attack," he said.
This investigation is in its early stages and more information will be made available when it can be confirmed by investigators.
