Have you gotten an empty parcel in the mail? If so, then Prince George RCMP want to hear from you.

Prince George RCMP are investigating after receiving several reports of parcels arriving empty, or with items missing from inside.

“We are currently investigating several incidents where people have picked up or received packages delivered by Canada Post where the bottom of the boxes have been cut open and resealed with tape. The packages are either missing several items or the boxes are arriving empty,” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said. “A large range of items have been reported stolen so far, including individually wrapped presents, clothing, and electronics.”

Anyone who has had items stolen out of parcels delivered to them between October and now is asked to call the RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to speak with an investigator. Quote file number 2022-41505.
