When Telus upgrades is telecommunications systems in B.C. this year, the Prince George area will get about 1.5 per cent of the investment. Company officials announced this week that the total provincial outlay would be about $670 million and $11 million of that would be downloaded into Prince George.
Chris Jensen, general manager of Customer Solutions Delivery for the Prince George area, said the infrastructure upgrades would improve their wireless network, faster internet speeds and more Optik TV coverage.
