In a move to assist those caring for someone with dementia, the Alzheimer Society of B.C. is offering a free teleworkshop for Prince George residents to learn how to navigate through the health care system.

In a move to assist those caring for someone with dementia, the Alzheimer Society of B.C. is offering a free teleworkshop for Prince George residents to learn how to navigate through the health care system.

The Advocacy and Navigating the System workshop to be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 is to be accessed from home or work by telephone or the Internet.

The session will help participants understand the healthcare system and inform how they can act as an advocate to ensure families get the help and support needed.
