The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating a missing local youth who has not been heard from in a week.
Keira Zoe Prince, 17, is described as First Nations, 170 cm (5'7"), with medium build, brown hair, brown eyes. She usually wears a toque.
Prince was last seen on Friday July 1, although she made phone contact with persons she knows on Wed., July 13.
There is a possibility she may have left Prince George and may be in the Fort St. John area, RCMP said.
"Although Police have no reason to believe that Keira has been harmed, investigators would like to locate and speak with her in order to ensure she is safe," RCMP said.
Anyone with information on where Prince may be is asked to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
