Local police are investigating after a Prince George teenager was approached Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly after 3 p.m., the Prince George RCMP received a report of a 14-year-old male walking in the area of Eighth Avenue and Ewert who had been confronted by an adult man. The man grabbed the teen's arm and made inappropriate remarks.
The young man broke free and ran away while the suspect headed west down Eighth Avenue towards Central Street. Officers who attended the area were unable to locate the suspect, who is described as a Caucasian male, 30 to 40 years old with a thin build and long, dark beard. He possibly has a speech impediment and was wearing a puffy brown jacket and boots.
