Team Rubicon hosts disaster training at Ness Lake

Team Rubicon Canada sees the first of its kind Disaster Training Camp week in the country that is taking place at Ness Lake Bible Camp.

There are 35 volunteers attending the camp that sees them being taught all about the use and maintenance of a chainsaw, how to do fire suppression and first aid, address mental health, and perform disaster site assessment to learn how to best utilize resources.

The 35 participants come from Canada and the U.S., including from as far away as Nova Scotia, Ontario, Texas and Alaska.
