For the second year in a row, residents can talk to their heart's content about municipal matters.

Talktober will take up five sessions this October, covering topics like park strategy, community association review, transit operations and bike lanes, capital project priorities and stormwater infrastructure.

It's a casual format, with Mayor Lyn Hall hosting a question and answer session with other city staff.

"Council was very pleased and impressed with the turnout at last year's Talktober sessions and we would like to thank everyone who took the time to come out," said Hall in a statement.

"We are looking forward to meeting and engaging directly with residents in their neighbourhoods about the issues that matter. Each session is open to any resident regardless of where they live."

The goal is to get input on city priorities and learn about neighbourhood issues. This year the Service Centre will be at each conversation collecting service requests.
