Investigators sifted through a home at the 3300 block of Austin Road East Saturday after a Friday night fire now viewed as suspicious.
According to Prince George Fire Rescue, residential fire alarms sent crews to the Hart area incident at around 7:30 p.m., where they discovered heavy smoke coming out of the basement of the home.
Fire Rescue said crews knocked down the fire quickly but estimated the damage to the residence was around $75,000.
