Investigators from Prince George RCMP's serious crimes and forensic identification units are on the scene after a 33-year-old woman was found dead in a Birchwood Crescent home, in the Hart Highlands neighbourhood this morning.
Her body was found after police responded to a call at 7:10 a.m.
The B.C. Coroner Service has also been called and will be working with investigators.
"This investigation is in the beginning stages," Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said.
"More information will be released as it becomes available."
