Prince George RCMP are investigating what they believe to have been a home invasion at a 2100-block Oak Street home on Friday night.

RCMP said they were called to a report of a disturbance at the home shortly after 8 p.m.

They spoke to six occupants and, from what they were told, suspect it was a home invasion.

A search warrant was subsequently obtained and executed and more evidence, including a rifle, ammunition and a replica handgun were seized.

"Two unknown suspects were believed to have been responsible for the offence," RCMP said. "No descriptions were provided although one of them may have a firearm."

One man was taken to hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
