A man already accused of three armed robberies has an additional charges to worry about.
Raymond Douglas Pennicott, 21, now also faces a charge of assault with a weapon for allegedly using bear spray on a taxi driver on the night of Sept. 10, Prince George RCMP said Tuesday.
Police, who were called to Fifth Ave. and Douglas St. at about 10:30 p.m., said Pennicott had fled but were able to identify him with the help of a camera inside the cab.
Pennicott, who hails from Calgary but has former ties to Prince George, faces several charges for alleged armed robberies of two Subway restaurants on Sept. 14 and a gas station at Fifth and Carney on Sept. 17.
Raymond Jarrod Constant Pruden-Collins, 20, also faces charges from the Subway robberies and from the Sept. 19 robbery of a jewelry store in Pine Centre Mall.
And Dillon Benjamen Ertmoed, 22, also faces charges from the Pine Centre incident.
